Account Tech Strategist

This role is a technical strategist for enterprise accounts, focusing on integrating Microsoft technologies into customer businesses and developing long-term technical and business roadmaps. It involves understanding customer needs, identifying opportunities, driving conversations about Microsoft solutions versus competitors, and orchestrating internal teams and partners to support demand generation and account planning. The role acts as a technology mentor to senior customer leaders and contributes to customer skilling initiatives.

What you'd actually do

  1. Orchestrates global teams to gather information, collaborate on performance markers, and identify potential risks in customer accounts.
  2. Partners with customer and/or partners to provide innovative solutions in new industries, and to integrate Microsoft technology in their business.
  3. Proactively builds and maintains a strong knowledge of Microsoft's product landscape, solutions, and strategy in the industry of assigned accounts.
  4. Acts as the voice of the customer and internal advocate.
  5. Provides analysis of overall customer needs and advises internal teams on gaps that would benefit from Microsoft solutions.
