This role is for an Account Technology Strategist focused on the federal government sector in Canada. The primary responsibility is to act as a trusted technical and strategic advisor, helping government customers adopt and leverage Microsoft's AI technologies and drive digital transformation. The role involves understanding customer business outcomes, building relationships with technology executives, and developing technology roadmaps. While the role involves discussing and promoting AI solutions, the core function is sales and strategic advisory, not direct AI/ML model development or deployment.

  1. Provides account‑level thought leadership across IT, business, and security.
  2. Applies deep industry expertise to inform sales strategy, partners, and solutions.
  3. Partners with senior executives to position Microsoft as the best long‑term choice.
  4. Leads technical engagement across customer, partner, and Microsoft teams.
  5. Leads AI and Industrial Metaverse strategy, roadmap, and execution with partners.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field
  • 6+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience
  • Ability to obtain Reliability Clearance Status screening
