What you'd actually do

  1. Prepare and maintain financial records in compliance with US GAAP, internal policies, and applicable local accounting standards.
  2. Support monthly and annual financial close processes, including preparing and posting journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  3. Conduct detailed analyses of financial data to produce reports for internal and external stakeholders, including statutory and regulatory filings.
  4. Collaborate with external auditors, government authorities, and other stakeholders during audits and reporting cycles to ensure compliance and transparency.
  5. Ensure robust internal controls and drive adherence to defined accounting procedures, including compliance with SOX requirements.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 1-2 years working experiences with strong accounting double entry background
  • Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with US GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex financial data

Nice to have

  • Membership or active pursuit of certifications such as CPA, ACCA, MICPA, or MIA
  • Experience with automation tools like Power BI, Python, Power Automate, or SQL scripting
