This role is for an Accountant at Cresta, an AI company. The Accountant will be responsible for period-end close activities, managing vendor bills, accounts receivable, collections, expense reports, and assisting with payroll. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business, and 1 year or less of relevant experience. Strong Excel and general accounting principles knowledge are necessary.

What you'd actually do

  1. Execute period-end close activities, including the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and other relevant working papers
  2. Manage vendor bills to ensure they are accounted, reviewed and paid for in accordance with relevant policies
  3. Manage Accounts Receivable and collections effort, partnering with our Sales team
  4. Manage and review expense reports for our employees
  5. Assist payroll processing for the company and overseas subsidiaries

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business
  • 1 year or less of relevant work experience in accounting or auditing
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to be an effective individual contributor by planning, executing and delivering projects in a timely manner
