Accounting Associate

Seeking an Accounting Associate with strong experience in FP&A to join the COE-Accountable Reporting team within the Global Finance Services Division. This role will support onshore partners by providing reporting and analytics to drive profitable growth. Responsibilities include month-end closing, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, business partnering, process transition, knowledge transfer, documentation, and driving continuous improvement through simplification, standardization, and automation. The role requires a CA/CPA/CMA/MBA with 2-3 years of FP&A experience and involves working a 5-day week in the office during EMEA shift hours.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform month end closing tasks, reporting and analysis including but not limited to, actuals, allocations, intercompany service charges, revenue, backlog and compliance
  2. Responsible for forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis collaborating with relevant teams
  3. Prepare and communicate timely, accurate and consistent results & identify key drivers providing insights to support decision making
  4. Act as the trusted partner and subject matter expert on finance issues providing guidance/training for all related systems & reporting
  5. Resolve issues independently and interact with teams within or outside of discipline addressing complex problems
  6. Participate in and/or lead the development of business process improvements as part of the Global Finance Strategy
  7. Perform the tasks related to the transition of the projects in line with COE scope of work, timelines, business requirements and defined metrics/KPIs
  8. Participate in knowledge transfer sessions, define and own the documentation (instruction manuals and scorecards/trackers)
  9. Partner with multiple global stakeholders on day-to-day operations
  10. Identify and leverage on tools and technologies to transform processes
  11. Drive continuous improvement via simplification, standardization and automation
  12. Development of new/alternative costing methodologies, processes, and/or systems

Required

  • Proven experience in FP&A, reporting, analysis and month end processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex financial data, trends and patterns
  • Excellent customer service skills working in a global environment with multiple stakeholders to drive outcomes
