Accounting Manager at Intel responsible for the global accounting lifecycle of bonus and sabbatical programs, ensuring compliance with ASC 710 and US GAAP/IFRS. The role involves collaboration with HR, Payroll, Treasury, and other finance teams, financial forecasting, reporting, and maintaining internal controls. It also includes leading and developing a team and identifying process improvement opportunities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead global bonus and sabbatical accounting activities with clear ownership of priorities, deliverables, and performance expectations.
  2. Translate program design, policy changes and business objectives into effective accounting processes while proactively addressing emerging accounting and operational issues as the designs evolve.
  3. Own and govern ASC 710 accounting for global bonus and sabbatical programs, establishing accrual methodologies for accurate expense recognition.
  4. Review assumptions, calculations and supporting analyses to ensure bonus and sabbatical balances are accurate. Partnering with Accounting Policy and business stakeholders on technical implications of program changes & new compensation structures.
  5. Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting results for bonus and sabbatical expense and balance sheet accounts.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 7+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience
