This role is for an Accounting Support position at Adobe, focusing on global disbursement activities. Responsibilities include processing payments, resolving vendor inquiries, ensuring compliance with policies and controls, collaborating with banking partners and internal teams, performing reconciliations, and supporting audits. Requires experience in accounting, cash environments, and specific software like SAP, Concur, and Ariba.

What you'd actually do

  1. Process global disbursement payment runs, including detailed review of payment proposals, audit of transactions, and validation of supporting documentation; perform ad‑hoc corrections as needed.
  2. Serve as a primary point of contact for disbursement‑related inquiries, including vendor payment questions and issue resolution, in partnership with Accounts Payable.
  3. Proactively partner with Accounts Payable, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury Operations, General Ledger, and other internal teams to enforce adherence to corporate policies, internal controls, and compliance requirements related to disbursements.
  4. Collaborate with banking partners and Adobe IT to resolve banking, transmission, or settlement issues and to implement new regulatory or compliance requirements.
  5. Prepare and review transactions related to disbursements, including reversals, adjustments, and payment resets.

Skills

Required

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar or equivalent accounting role.
  • Hands‑on experience with cash environments, including multi‑currency transactions, global entities, and diverse banking structures.
  • Recent experience (within the last 24 months) using SAP, Concur, and Ariba.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Strong accounting foundation and a high level of ownership and accountability.
  • Exercise sound judgment within defined company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Proven record of consistently meeting SLAs, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a high performing team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, distributed team environment; meticulous, self-motivated, and deadline driven.
  • Highly organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience (strongly preferred).
