Ford Ford · Auto · Dearborn, MI +1 · PD Operations and Quality

This role is for a supervisor to lead the verification and validation of ADAS sensing systems, including cameras, radars, and perception algorithms. The focus is on ensuring sub-system performance meets design and regulatory standards, building a new team, and developing validation plans. It involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers, and utilizing HiL and CAE methods.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the development and execution of design validation methods to ensure proper sensing system performance at the component, system, and vehicle level across a variety of environmental and cross-carline noise factors.
  2. Build and establish a Platform & Sensing Validation team through hiring and recruiting activities
  3. Establish a comprehensive Platform/Sensing validation plan that supports successful Feature validation within Program Milestone timing
  4. Provide guidance to the Platform/Sensing V&V team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  5. Coordinate with other teams, including software development, program management, Systems Engineering, and Suppliers to align V&V activities with overall project goals.
