Operator for additive manufacturing equipment (LPBF printers, powder processing, post-processing) in an industrial setting. Involves machine setup, operation, maintenance, and quality control following standard operating procedures.

What you'd actually do

  1. Setup and clean down of LPBF printers utilizing standard operating procedures
  2. Perform daily checks on machines using appropriate procedures
  3. Perform support removal and post-processing operations for additive parts
  4. Operating various industrial equipment
  5. Ability to provide opportunities for improvement

Skills

Required

  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch around machines, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Excellent team spirit and ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Advanced manual dexterity and precision
  • Ability to learn and follow all required safety guidelines
  • Experience with general computer knowledge and operation
  • Experience with general operation of machinery and basic mechanical knowledge
  • Possess time management skills and an understanding of production process flows

Nice to have

  • Additive manufacturing lab experience
  • 1 year minimum experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Metal and/or polymer additive machining experience
  • Ability to have a flexible work schedule (Overtime and weekends as required)
