Administrative Assistant to the VP of Mission Enabling Products at Northrop Grumman, supporting senior leadership and office operations. Requires strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, with experience in calendar management, meeting coordination, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry and ability to obtain a security clearance are preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the Mission Enabling Products Business Unit, reporting directly to the Vice President, Mission Enabling Products, while also providing support to other senior team members as needed.
  2. Communicate with enterprise-wide partners, executives, administrative and line management employees.
  3. Perform advanced administrative duties with exposure to sensitive information necessitating tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment.
  4. Manage calendars, meetings, and access logistics in a complex environment including sites across the country and stakeholders around the world.
  5. Coordinate time-sensitive activities and communications.

Skills

Required

  • High school diploma and a minimum of six years additional education and/or experience in the administrative professional field or a bachelor’s degree with two years' experience in the administrative professional field.
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel, Teams), SharePoint and intranet/internet proficiency.
  • Understand the sensitive nature of working in an executive office and have good judgement, problem solving skills and maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently, foresee needs and be proactive.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment and manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ability to solve problems and meet deadlines with a great level of flexibility.
  • Experience with Concur (or similar) travel and expense reporting system.
  • Ability to efficiently coordinate Outlook calendar and other routine items.
  • Prior experience coordinating both on and off-site meetings and/or events.

Nice to have

  • Aerospace and Defense Technology industry experience
  • Current Top Secret/SCI security clearance or the ability to obtain one; maintaining the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment.
  • Ability to swiftly adapt to new tools/technologies to drive efficiency and organization across the global team.
