Lead a team of Customer and Partner Solutions Engineers to develop and scale advertising solutions for customers, focusing on technical implementation, optimization, and engineering solutions. Provide thought leadership and develop new AI solution offerings, driving automation and integration with AI for complex workflows.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead a team of Customer and Partner Solutions Engineers focusing on team culture, talent strategy, and skills development to deliver scaled technical solutions aligned to Google Ads Product priorities to customers globally.
  2. Deliver the strategic vision for the organization, work with sales teams, product leads, and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment with customer needs and coordinated execution for key priorities.
  3. Provide thought leadership and develop new AI solution offerings for the team as aligned with organizational goals of product and enablement organizations to maximize output and impact.
  4. Lead the change management on initiatives that drive greater automation, integration with AI and higher efficiency of complex, multifaceted workflows and processes, for both Google and our customers.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript or HTTP).
  • 10 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience in technical leadership, including leading business transformation initiatives.

Nice to have

  • MBA or Master's degree in a related technical field.
  • Experience in an analytical role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.
  • Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments or cloud data engineering.
  • Experience using machine learning and building solutions.
  • Experience working with systems (e.g., Linux, Unix).
