Engineering Program Execution Lead for Advanced Battle Management (ABM) systems at Northrop Grumman. This role focuses on end-to-end program execution, leading cross-functional teams through proposal, design, manufacturing, and delivery phases. Responsibilities include technical performance, staffing, root-cause analysis, engineering metrics, process rigor, and proposal support, with a strong emphasis on Earned Value Management (EVMS) and project budgets/schedules. Requires a Secret clearance and experience in hardware development, manufacturing, and radar technology.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead a cross-functional engineering team during proposal, design, manufacturing, and delivery phases of products in development and production phases
  2. Support proposal development and new program acquisition efforts
  3. Interpret statements of work assigned by program leadership
  4. Develop and execute to project budgets and schedules, including Earned Value Management System (EVMS), critical path management, Estimates-at-Completion (EACs), and workload forecasts
  5. Interface with functional departments to secure team staffing

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience, a Master's degree with 8 years of experience, or a PhD with 6 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or other related technical fields.
  • A current/active U.S Government Secret Clearance.
  • Experience as a Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, Technical lead, or other leadership role in a program office or business function with demonstrated team building, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the hardware Design, Manufacturing and Test process.
  • Radar technology background with sensors development, implementation, and production experience.
  • Knowledge of staffing and engineering metrics, processes, and tools.
  • Experience with developing and executing project schedules.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields.
  • Active U.S Government Top Secret/SCI Clearance or higher.
  • High proficiency in technical problem solving to include decomposition, root cause analysis, solution development, implementation and monitoring, as well as experience in engineering leadership and support across multiple program phases.
  • Experience in functional management of an engineering organization.
