Advanced EMC Test Engineer role focused on ensuring product quality and reliability through advanced test engineering techniques, including design consultation, laboratory testing, and troubleshooting of EMI/EMC issues. What you'd actually do

  1. Provide guidance and training to EMC test technicians.
  2. Perform radiated and conducted emissions/immunity testing in anechoic chambers and shielding rooms.
  3. Work with hardware design teams to apply EMC best practices, including grounding, shielding, component selection, and PCB layout strategies.
  4. Ensure products meet IEC, CISPR, FCC, or automotive standards, and provide reports to support the DOC creation and submittmits.
  5. Analyze test results to identify root causes of EMI failures and provide technical solutions for mitigation.

  • Strong expertise in developing and executing complex test plans and procedures.
  • Proficiency with test automation tools and data analysis techniques to improve test efficiency and accuracy.
  • Experience with hardware and software integration testing in a product development environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to test engineering and quality assurance.
