Advisor Development Program Client Associate

This role is an entry-level position within Bank of America's Wealth Management division, specifically the Advisor Development Program. The primary goal is to train individuals to become Financial Advisors at Merrill. Responsibilities include providing client service support to Financial Advisors, obtaining necessary securities licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66), learning foundational client service skills, and eventually progressing to acquiring, building, and managing client relationships as a Financial Advisor. The role emphasizes client acquisition, solution recommendation, and practice management within a regulated financial services environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Providing client service support to Financial Advisors (FAs).
  2. Obtaining your Securities Industry licenses, where you will receive dedicated study time for your Securities Industry Essentials [SIE], Series 7, and Series 66 Exams.
  3. Supporting enterprise strategic objectives, operational excellence goals, and client advocacy within the FA’s business, while customizing solutions based on their specific needs.
  4. Serving as the most frequent point of contact within Merrill to address all service needs of their clients and acting as a resource for FAs on the team.
  5. Acquiring, building, and managing client relationships while considering a client’s complex financial picture and guiding them with advice and solutions.
