Advisor Development Program Client Associate

This role is an entry-level position within Bank of America's Merrill Wealth Management, designed to train individuals to become Financial Advisors. The initial phase involves obtaining securities licenses and providing client service support to existing Financial Advisors. The program progresses to building a book of business and managing client relationships, ultimately leading to the destination role of a Merrill Financial Advisor.

What you'd actually do

  1. providing client service support to Financial Advisors (FAs)
  2. obtaining your Securities Industry licenses, where you will receive dedicated study time for your Securities Industry Essentials [SIE], Series 7, and Series 66 Exams.
  3. supporting enterprise strategic objectives, operational excellence goals, and client advocacy within the FA’s business, while customizing solutions based on their specific needs.
  4. serving as the most frequent point of contact within Merrill to address all service needs of their clients and acting as a resource for FAs on the team.
  5. acquiring, building, and managing client relationships while considering a client’s complex financial picture and guiding them with advice and solutions.
