This role is for a Solution Consultant on the Advisory AI Foundry team at ServiceNow. The primary focus is on supporting sales cycles by positioning and demonstrating ServiceNow's AI-enhanced products to customers. The role involves understanding customer challenges, answering technical questions, and providing feedback to product management. While the role leverages AI and discusses its integration into work processes, it does not involve shipping AI models or core AI development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support product sales as a technical and domain expert of a client-facing sales team
  2. Lead discovery workshops to determine customers' challenges and give product demonstrations to align our solution with customer needs
  3. Answer product feature and technical questions from customers, channel partners and ServiceNow colleagues
  4. Provide feedback to product management about product enhancements that can address customer needs and provide additional value
  5. Share and learn best practices and re-usable assets with other Solution Consultants to enhance the quality and efficiency of the team

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience
  • Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software solutions
  • Experience working collaboratively with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services
  • Territory management skills, including pipeline building and working with Sales counterpart to guide execution excellence

Nice to have

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • Travel, as necessary
