Afsim Operations Analyst, Mission Engineering, Air Dominance & Strike, Active Clearance

Anduril Anduril · Defense · Costa Mesa, CA · Air Dominance & Strike : Mission Engineering : Operations Analysis

This role focuses on operations analysis for defense technology, specifically using mission-level simulations and the scientific method to analyze Anduril's platform, autonomy, simulation, and perception products. The analyst will develop models, conduct data analysis, and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders. Experience with AFSIM scripting, Python, MATLAB, and domain knowledge in areas like counter-air and ISR are required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Employ the scientific method to develop model-driven analysis (and often the models themselves)
  2. Develop a deep understanding of the transformational value of Anduril’s platform, autonomy, simulation, and perception products
  3. Use our advanced internal M&S capabilities to give our analyses and asymmetric advantage over competitors
  4. Use exceptional writing and verbal communication to translate complex analytical findings into clear and compelling summaries for both internal program teams and external customers
