Netflix is seeking an Agency Development Manager to manage the execution of their advertising investment strategy for export business in APAC, focusing on Singapore and China. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with senior agency leaders, negotiating advertising deals, and driving revenue growth. This is a sales and business development role within the advertising sector, not directly involved in AI/ML development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ownership in developing and executing agency-focused sales to deliver revenue targets and exceed Agency partner expectations
  2. Negotiate, manage, and maintain Agency partnership upfront advertising deals, Agency trading deals, and all major agency-level deals for Netflix Advertising - across all major Singapore and China agencies
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with all major Agency Holding groups and related Operating Company Agencies to secure ad partnerships and increase the share of investment
  4. Develop a high-level sales ‘go to market’ strategy for the overall Agency Account portfolio
  5. Leverage Netflix's unique audience insights and premium content offerings to drive revenue growth

Skills

Required

  • Deep understanding and expertise of Singapore and China outbound agency structures, streaming video, digital media buy, and the needs of their agency partners
  • Strong record of branding, advertising, trading, negotiation, and deal-making
  • Established network of relationships at the senior level, in particular with Agency Heads of Investment
  • Strong written and spoken Mandarin language skills for business communication
  • Proficiency in English

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in branding advertising is preferred
