Agile Coach

Autodesk is seeking an Agile Coach to partner with leaders and teams across engineering, product, design, data, and program functions to improve how work is planned, delivered, and continuously improved. The role involves coaching teams and leaders, improving operating models, driving data-informed continuous improvement, supporting planning and alignment, and enabling cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in software delivery and agile coaching, with a focus on practical application of agile principles and sustainable improvement.

What you'd actually do

  1. Coach engineering, product, design, and program teams in applying agile principles and practices that improve delivery outcomes
  2. Partner with directors, managers, and team leaders to strengthen agile leadership and team effectiveness
  3. Work across scrum teams and cross-functional squads to strengthen planning, prioritization, and execution
  4. Use delivery metrics, artifact quality, and observational insights to identify root causes impacting team performance
  5. Partner with teams early in quarterly and longer-term planning cycles to align priorities and improve planning quality

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in software delivery, product development, or technology program management
  • 3–5+ years of experience coaching agile teams or leading agile transformations
  • Experience working with agile frameworks and practices such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean
  • Experience coaching multiple teams within complex engineering environments
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder-influence skills

Nice to have

  • Agile coaching certifications (Leading SAFe (SA), SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC))
  • Experience working in product-driven organizations with cross-functional teams
  • Experience using delivery metrics and data to guide improvement
  • Background in software engineering, product management, or program management
