Agility & Engineering Lead

Lead engineering teams in developing and enhancing an AI-driven platform for a financial services client, focusing on accelerating the SDLC and improving efficiency using Gen AI tools and automation. Responsibilities include facilitating agile ceremonies, coaching teams on Agile/Scrum/DevOps, removing impediments, collaborating with stakeholders on technical vision, driving technical excellence, tracking metrics, and managing client engagements.

What you'd actually do

  1. The Engineering Agility Lead will guide and empower multiple software engineering teams.
  2. Facilitating agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) across all teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment.
  3. Serving as a servant-leader and coach, mentoring teams on Agile, Scrum, and DevOps best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement and self-organization.
  4. Identifying and aggressively removing impediments, shielding the teams from external distractions and blockers.
  5. Collaborating with Product Managers, architects, and business stakeholders to define the technical vision, refine the product backlog, and ensure features meet business objectives.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years in direct team leadership, Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Technical Lead role
  • 3+ years of experience leading at least two software engineering teams simultaneously
  • 5+ years of experience applying agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
  • experience with scaling frameworks

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a highly regulated industry, such as Financial Services.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
