Overview
As an **AI & Apps Solution Engineer **, you will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to enterprise customers, helping them navigate one of the most significant technology shifts of our time. This role extends beyond traditional solution engineering, requiring a leader who can engage executive stakeholders, shape AI transformation strategies, and drive adoption of Microsoft’s Azure AI and Application Platform portfolio to deliver measurable business outcomes.
You will lead high-impact customer engagements, guiding organizations from early AI vision and innovation through architecture design, proof-of-concept validation, production deployment, and scaled adoption. Working across Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, AI Agents, Power Platform, Azure Machine Learning, and modern application development platforms, you will help customers modernize applications, unlock new business models, and accelerate digital transformation.
As a technical leader, you will influence technology strategy with Chief Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers, Digital Transformation leaders, Enterprise Architects, and top-tier business stakeholders. You will be expected to drive strategic initiatives, lead complex technical discussions, facilitate executive workshops, and position Microsoft as the trusted partner for AI-powered innovation.
Success in this role requires a unique combination of technical depth, executive presence, customer influence, and business acumen. You will act as a catalyst for transformation, helping customers adopt Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, and guide them through application modernization while ensuring responsible, secure, and scalable implementation. In addition, you will contribute to Microsoft's technical community through mentoring and thought leadership that elevate both customers and internal team capability.

Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery workshops, architecture reviews, solution envisioning sessions, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements to define AI and application modernization strategies.
- Design innovative solutions leveraging Azure AI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, AI Agents, Power Platform, and modern application development platforms to solve complex business challenges.
- Help customers modernize applications, adopt cloud-native architectures, and improve agility, scalability, productivity, and business outcomes.
- Influence technical and business decision-makers by articulating solution value, technical strategy, architecture recommendations, and long-term transformation roadmaps.
- Accelerate customer adoption by addressing technical blockers, implementation challenges, architectural considerations, governance requirements, and deployment readiness.
- Drive complex technical wins through architecture design sessions, technical validation activities, solution demonstrations, and alignment of Microsoft technologies with customer objectives.
- Collaborate with sales, customer success, product engineering, partners, and industry specialists to achieve customer business outcomes and successful solution deployment.
- Contribute technical thought leadership through reusable assets, customer presentations, industry events, workshops, and peer coaching.
- Stay current on emerging AI technologies, modern application development trends, cloud innovation, and industry insights to maximize customer innovation opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor helping customers turn AI investments into measurable business value while accelerating adoption of Microsoft AI and application platform capabilities.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR 7+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
- This role requires proficiency in written, reading, and conversational Brazilian Portuguese and English.
Preferred Qualifications
This role requires proficiency in written, reading, and conversational Spanish. Extensive experience designing, architecting and implementing enterprise-scale complex Artificial Intelligence solutions using Microsoft Azure, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI Search, Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Vision, Azure AI Document Intelligence, Azure AI Speech, Azure AI Language, and related Microsoft AI technologies.
Deep Hands-On demostrated expertise building POCs/MVPs for Agentic AI solutions, including AI Agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), MCPs, orchestration frameworks, multi-agent architectures, prompt engineering, knowledge grounding, conversational AI, and intelligent automation solutions.
Extensive experience developing, architecting, deploying, and operating AI-powered applications in production environments with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, observability, governance, security, and responsible AI practices.
Extensive expertise with Machine Learning, Generative AI, Predictive Analytics, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Image Processing, Document Intelligence, and Automation solutions.
Knowledge of cloud-native application development, modern software engineering practices, DevOps, platform engineering, containers, Kubernetes, APIs, microservices, and enterprise application architecture.
Extensive experience leading enterprise Data & AI transformation initiatives, application modernization programs, cloud transformation projects, and digital transformation consulting engagements.
