Role Overview

We’re hiring an early‑career AI Automation Engineer to help build the next generation of AI‑driven automation and reliability platforms. This role is ideal for a recent graduate from a top Computer Science or Computer Engineering program who has very strong hands‑on experience with AI and Generative AI through internships, research, labs, or real‑world projects.

You’ll work at the intersection of Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation, and reliability engineering, building systems that detect issues, reason about them, and take action—often autonomously. Think AI agents, self‑healing systems, intelligent runbooks, and automated incident response at real enterprise scale.

  • 2+ years of experience (can include internships, co‑ops, research, and strong project work.
  • At least 1-2 internships and/or co-ops required. Hands on work experience is essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

Our Senior System Engineering , earns between $143,800-$215,800 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
