AI Enablement Lead, Talent & Leadership Development

Databricks Databricks · Data AI · San Francisco, CA · People

This role is for an AI Enablement Lead within the Talent & Leadership Development team at Databricks. The primary focus is on designing and scaling learning systems and programs using automation, data, and emerging AI technologies. The role involves creating AI-enabled learning experiences such as copilots, assistants, and personalized pathways, and evolving programs towards continuous, embedded development. It also includes building and experimenting with agentic learning approaches and leveraging data for analysis and iteration.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and scale one or more flagship talent development programs (e.g., career development, manager enablement, onboarding, or top talent acceleration).
  2. Design and implement AI-enabled learning experiences, including copilots, assistants, mentoring networks, and personalized learning pathways.
  3. Evolve programs from event-based learning to continuous, embedded development in the flow of work.
  4. Partner with HR, business leaders, and technical teams to translate business problems into scalable development solutions.
  5. Build and experiment with new approaches to agentic learning — using AI agents, automation, and knowledge systems to support employees, managers, and leaders in real time.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years owning global learning, talent, or people programs in fast-paced or scaling organizations.
  • Experience building scalable programs (onboarding, manager development, leadership development, or talent acceleration) — not just facilitating workshops.
  • Strong systems thinker: you design processes and experiences that work for thousands of employees, not dozens.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and practical use of AI tools (e.g., copilots, knowledge assistants, automation workflows, personalization, or analytics) to improve employee or learning experiences.
  • Comfortable experimenting and prototyping new solutions with limited resources.
  • Highly analytical: you use data to prioritize problems, evaluate effectiveness, and drive adoption.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Clear communicator who can translate business needs into practical, scalable development solutions.
