Ai/ml Hardware Architect, Cloud, Silicon

Google Google · Big Tech · Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Develops custom silicon solutions and architecture specifications for AI/ML roadmaps, focusing on power, performance, and hardware/software co-design for Google's AI accelerators and data center infrastructure.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop architecture specifications that meet current and future computing requirements for AI/ML roadmap.
  2. Partner with hardware design, software, compiler, Machine Learning (ML) model and research teams for effective hardware/software co-design, creating high performance hardware/software interfaces.
  3. Evaluate different silicon solutions for executing Google’s data center Artificial Intelligence (AI) accelerator roadmap, components, vendor co-developments, custom designs and chiplets.
  4. Own microarchitecture of compute blocks and subsystems.
  5. Identify and drive power, performance and area improvements for the modules owned.
