This role supports the enablement of AI/ML solutions within JPMorgan Chase's APAC Chief Data & Analytics Office. The Associate will assist in identifying use cases, gathering requirements, documenting technical aspects, and supporting the operationalization and adoption of AI/ML capabilities. The role also focuses on promoting AI literacy, knowledge sharing, and community building around data and AI solutions, while conducting research on industry trends and preparing documentation for stakeholders. The role requires a foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience supporting data analysis and AI/ML solution delivery, with an awareness of APAC regulatory requirements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assist in identifying and scoping AI opportunities by gathering and analyzing business requirements.
  2. Support the adoption of AI/ML capabilities within business initiatives, helping to track value and outcomes.
  3. Work with business and technology teams to understand challenges and help translate requirements into technical documentation and delivery plans.
  4. Contribute to prioritizing business problems that AI/ML can address, supporting the alignment of solutions with business objectives.
  5. Help operationalize AI/ML capabilities across business units by supporting project delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Formal training or certification and 2+ years of experience in AI/ML, data science, analytics, or technology roles
  • Foundational understanding of AI, machine learning (ML), and natural language processing (NLP) concepts.
  • Experience supporting data collection, cleaning, analysis, and interpretation to ensure data quality and inform decision-making.
  • Basic technical knowledge (such as programming fundamentals or familiarity with AI frameworks) to work effectively with technical teams.
  • Experience assisting in the delivery of AI/ML solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to help translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Willingness to learn how to measure the impact and ROI of AI solutions using relevant metrics.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders and support change management and collaboration across teams.
  • Ability to communicate technical AI concepts in clear, business-focused language.
  • Awareness of APAC regulatory requirements and cultural diversity.
