AI Partner Development - Gtm Pod

This role is focused on Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and partnerships within the AI space for a fintech company. The individual will work with AI companies of all sizes to ensure Plaid is the financial and identity provider of choice, driving deals and partnerships, and translating emerging use cases into business outcomes. The role requires identifying new AI-native partners, defining commercial structures, and supporting cross-functional GTM initiatives.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own Plaid’s approach to AI partnerships including driving the initial strategy, owning cross-functional stakeholder management, and full-stack deal execution
  2. Identify new AI-native partners and use cases for Plaid
  3. Own and drive AI-related deals across partnerships
  4. Identify, structure, and execute industry-first AI partnerships
  5. Responsible for defining commercial structures, working with Engineering, Product, Design, and Commercial to unlock new technical requirements, and partnership structuring and execution

Skills

Required

  • 7-10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or corporate development
  • Proven ability to drive deals and manage external relationships
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and build from 0→1
  • Interest in AI and emerging technologies

Nice to have

  • Experience working with AI companies or developer/API platforms
  • Background in fintech or financial infrastructure
  • Startup or high-growth environment experience
