This role is for an AI Researcher focused on advancing the state-of-the-art in AI for chemistry and materials science, with a specific focus on modeling complex battery and electrolyte chemistries. The role involves fundamental and exploratory research, developing new datasets and models, and contributing to the understanding of intelligence and technology towards advanced machine intelligence. The researcher will publish their findings, open-source code, and enhance existing AI models for scientific applications.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide technical leadership for a scientific direction in AI for science.
  2. Perform research that advances the state-of-the-art in AI for chemistry and materials science.
  3. Work closely with internal and external partners to realize impact of methods advances.
  4. Work towards long-term goals, while identifying intermediate milestones.
  5. Influence progress of relevant research communities by producing publications.
