This role focuses on establishing and leading global Trustworthy AI strategy, aligning with standards like ISO/IEC 42001 and the EU AI Act. It involves designing and implementing AI safety guardrails, dialogue governance, jailbreak defense, and accuracy assurance pipelines, with a specific emphasis on AI Agentic Risk Governance. The position also integrates hardware-based trust features (attestation, secure enclaves) into safety solutions and defines 'trusted inference modes'. A significant part of the role involves strategic partnership and ecosystem leadership, building collaborations with universities, governments, and industry bodies to architect safe AI deployment patterns for national and enterprise initiatives.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead global Trustworthy AI strategy aligned with ISO/IEC 42001, NIST RMF, EU AI Act.
  2. Design and implement AI safety guardrails, dialogue governance, jailbreak defense, content moderation, and accuracy assurance pipelines.
  3. Drive program management for safe-by-design development across hardware, software, and model teams.
  4. Build research and policy collaborations with universities, governments, AAAI, standards bodies, NGOs, and industry alliances.
  5. Represent the organization in global forums, conferences, and executive briefings.

Skills

Required

  • Expertise in SLMs/LLMs, transformer architectures, inference optimization, and on-device AI.
  • Strong engineering background in Python, C/C++, or Rust.
  • Experience with safety tuning, RLHF/RLAIF, policy enforcement layers, and red-teaming.
  • Understanding of provenance, trusted compute, and security architectures.
  • Strong command of AI risk frameworks and global regulatory landscape.
  • Ability to convert governance requirements into technical controls and partner-ready solutions.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership across hardware, software, policy, and research teams.

Nice to have

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
