AI Software Engineering Intern

Intel Intel · Semiconductors · Shenzhen, China +1

This internship focuses on developing and enabling Agentic AI systems on AI PC platforms. Responsibilities include setting up AI environments, experimenting with AI models and applications, and supporting pretraining and task learning pipelines. The role emphasizes hands-on engineering across AI infrastructure, system setup, and agent-oriented AI workloads, contributing to client AI software ecosystem development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Set up and maintain AI development environments on AI PC platforms (OS, drivers, frameworks, toolchains).
  2. Develop and experiment with Agentic AI systems, including multi step reasoning, tool usage, memory, and task orchestration.
  3. Explore and integrate new AI models and applications relevant to AI PC usage scenarios.
  4. Support pretraining and fine tuning methodologies, including data pipelines, training workflows, and model integration
  5. Implement AI coding tasks across infrastructure and application layers to enable agent based workflows.
