The Role and Impact
As a Senior AI Software Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Intel's leadership in artificial intelligence, with a specialised focus on Vision AI and Gen AI applications You will collaborate with internal engineering teams, external partners, and customers to integrate and validate optimised AI solutions that leverage Intel's cutting-edge products.
Your contributions will drive adoption of Intel AI platforms across manufacturing, retail, healthcare, transportation, and education industries, enabling transformative advancements in machine learning and high-performance computing. By researching technical trends, validating solutions, and benchmarking AI performance, you will ensure Intel's products remain at the forefront of innovation, delivering performance and value to customers worldwide. In this dynamic position, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of Intel's AI technologies.
You will serve as a trusted technical advisor and Customer 0 representative, partner with engineering teams on validation frameworks, and contribute to the refinement of next-generation hardware and software solutions. Your efforts will directly impact Intel's ability to deliver competitive benchmarks, differentiated collateral, and innovative validation methodologies for AI workloads.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead integration and validation of AI solutions, ensuring optimal performance on Intel hardware platforms
Research technical trends and market demands to identify integration opportunities for Intel AI solutions.
Validate and benchmark AI models and pipelines optimised with OpenVINO toolkit across Intel CPUs, integrated GPUs, and NPUs
Serve as senior technical advisor and Customer 0 representative, defining validation approaches and frameworks for AI solutions (including applications, microservices and libraries).
Partner with customers and ISVs to integrate Intel's Edge AI Suites & Libraries into their production environments
Lead performance benchmarking initiatives and competitive analysis for AI workloads on Intel platforms
Collaborate with product teams to provide validation feedback and drive requirements for future AI capabilities
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related specialised field.
6+ years of experience in AI software development or validation with a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years with a Master's degree, or 2+ years with a PhD.
Proficiency in Python for AI development, debugging, and software validation.
Expertise in AI frameworks, including optimisation techniques, algorithm design, and model quantisation.
Experience with AI productisation platforms and end-to-end integration workflows in a containerised environment.
Proven capabilities in bug/issue analysis and customer support for technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address performance bottlenecks and optimise resource utilisation.
Familiarity with OpenVINO toolkit and AI pipelines for Vision and/or Generative AI.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, customers, and ecosystem partners.
Excellent communication skills with a track record of providing technical guidance and thought leadership.
