This role is for an AI Solutions Consultant focused on Generative AI within BCG Platinion. The consultant will work with clients to understand challenges, define GenAI strategies, and collaborate on building AI platforms. Responsibilities include evaluating client technology teams, managing quality and risk, and transforming client potential into tangible outcomes by enhancing their AI/ML capabilities with GenAI. The role requires strong technical expertise in GenAI, including LLMs, RAG, Guardrails, MLOps, and prompt engineering, with a focus on strategic IT implementation and digital/agile transformations.

What you'd actually do

  1. work closely with our client’s leadership teams to understand their key challenges, define GenAI strategies, win buy-in for your recommendations and collaborate with BCG case team members to transform client potential into performance.
  2. responsible for specific parts of the project and will evaluate and coach our clients’ technology teams, manage quality and risk while maintaining client expectations and escalations.
  3. develop ground-breaking projects by enabling our clients to effectively use agile methods and modern approaches in the context of strategic IT implementation.
  4. transform client potential into tangible outcomes, partnering with a diverse array of international and leading-edge clients to enhance their AI and machine learning capabilities with Generative AI.
  5. contribute to the Practice Area development and help to build the BCG brand as a key member of the case team.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 to 10 years’ experience in IT strategy and consulting, professional software development or IT project management
  • Previous Consulting experience is a must (focused on technology, digital initiatives)
  • Strong technical expertise in Generative AI and Machine Learning
  • Sound understanding of GenAI solution constructs e.g., LLMs, RAG, Guardrails, MLOps and multi-modality
  • Understanding of various GenAI platform & middleware and how they fit in GenAI architecture e.g., AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex, Langchain or LlamaIndex
  • Able to understand & apply advanced prompt engineering methods and related concepts (RAG, context windows, memory)
  • Track record of Agile consulting and advisory with experience in Digital and Agile transformations at scale
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
