This role is for an AI Specialist in the UK region within the Applied Field Engineering team. The primary focus is on technical sales, acting as a trusted advisor to customers, and influencing the design and implementation of AI/ML solutions. The role involves delivering technical presentations, workshops, and demonstrations, and collaborating with product, sales, and marketing teams. Essential technical requirements include experience with Generative AI (LLMs, vector dbs, embeddings, agents), the standard Python ML stack, and coding AI/ML prototypes. Desirable skills include Snowflake experience, Data Engineering, ML Ops, and DevOps/CI/CD.

What you'd actually do

  1. The role will be aligned to the sales engineering organisation, and hence the successful candidate should be skilled in technical sales.
  2. Act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, guiding them on how our solutions align with their business goals.
  3. Support the adoption of features, best practices and technologies in the broader Snowflake ecosystem to maintain a competitive edge.
  4. Influence the design and implementation of complex AI/ML solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  5. Provide hands-on technical guidance to AI/ML teams during critical projects.

  • Snowflake Experience: experience with the Snowflake AI/ML ecosystem
  • Data Engineering: while not strictly part of the role, experience in the adjacent/overlapping discipline is beneficial
