This role is an AI Strategic Pursuit Lead for Gemini Enterprise, focusing on customer experience in the automotive industry. The lead will be responsible for driving the success of strategic pursuits, advising top customers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape the future of in-car experiences using generative AI and voice assistants. The role involves articulating digital transformation paths, holding accountability for customer outcomes, defining governance models, leading large-scale projects, and managing the presales scoping lifecycle.

What you'd actually do

  1. Articulate and enable the path to digital transformation, technology adoption, and cloud transformation for strategic pursuits including workload prioritization, organizational and cultural readiness, capability adoption, and goal clarification.
  2. Hold accountability to customers at the board and executive-level to ensure the program realizes financial benefits, business objectives, and transformational outcomes.
  3. Define the overall governance model and services delivery plan for the account and establish a cadence to manage the ongoing delivery of the plan.
  4. Lead the delivery of multi-functional, large-scale Google Cloud transformation projects, as well as manage a partner ecosystem (i.e., product and services).
  5. Manage the presales scoping lifecycle, customer requirements, and regularly track them to meet the expected outcomes and timelines, stakeholder communication, relationship management, and building mitigation plans as the program evolves.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a business development sales pursuit role in the enterprise software, cloud, or AI space.
  • Experience identifying AI use cases to solve customer challenges or selling automotive software technology to clients.
  • Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI/ML products, voice assistants or predictive AI in automotive use cases.
  • Experience with cross-functional teams, including Product, Field Sales, Customer Engineering, Solution Architects, to build business cases for transforming in-car experiences and accompanying plans.
  • Experience with managing partners in complex implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
  • Understanding of the automotive industry, including how automotive systems are structured.
  • Ability to grow in an ambiguous environment while at the forefront of strategic customer engagements.
  • Ability to communicate in English and either Japanese, Korean, or Chinese fluently to review agreements.
