This role is responsible for activating and scaling Microsoft Security's AI-first operating model within the Security Engineering organization. It focuses on building programs, rituals, and change infrastructure to embed AI-first behaviors, drive adoption of AI tools and agents, and measure progress. The role acts as a change agent to transform the organization's way of working to be AI-first.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive activation of the new AI-first operating model end-to-end: from readiness through team-level adoption, measurement, and iteration, in close partnership with Engineering Executive Sponsor and Engineering Leaders.
  2. Design and run the Security Frontier Enablement Lab — a structured environment where engineering teams experiment with AI tools, agents, and workflows in low-risk, high-signal settings.
  3. Translate the new AI-first operating model into clear behavioral expectations that managers can reinforce and engineers can act on immediately.
  4. In partnership with Engineering leaders, define and track leading and lagging indicators of AI tool and operating model adoption across Security Engineering.
  5. Partner with engineering managers and VPs to embed AI-first behaviors into operating rhythms, expectations, and management practice.
