What you'd actually do

  1. Read and interpret blueprints.
  2. Bonds a variety of dissimilar materials (composite, metal, or laminate) assemblies, parts, skins, components, equipment or structures into semi-finished or finished products.
  3. Lays out articles, cuts parts or materials to size.
  4. Applies liquid or solid bonding agents.
  5. Operates autoclave, hydraulic presses and ovens to complete bonding cycle.
