Supervise a team of Quality Aircraft Inspectors, ensuring adherence to company schedules and quality standards in a manufacturing environment, preferably aviation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supervise Quality Aircraft Inspection Team Members, and will be responsible for the overall operations in the area
  2. Lead improvement activities for quality, delivery, cost, and safety objectives and will support continuous improvement through Kaizen
  3. Review and/or prepare standardized work procedures and facilitate effective communication of procedures to affected areas
  4. Develop training documents and facilitate training; assist in troubleshooting quality issues
  5. Must be able to manage manpower, including time clock management of hourly employees and the ability to control overtime

  • 10 years in a quality inspection role

Nice to have

  • Three (3) years' experience with aircraft assembly, mechanical assembly, or aircraft structures
  • Able to use all tech data and aircraft drawings, and manufacturing work instructions to perform inspections
  • Familiar with paste/secondary bonded structure
  • FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) rating
