John Deere is seeking a Senior SAP FI/CO Functional Analyst to join their Corporate IT team in Indaiatuba, SP, Brazil. This role will support product innovations by focusing on application development across various platforms, including SAP S/4 Hana, cloud platforms like AWS, data and machine learning platforms like Databricks, and user experience platforms like FullStory. The analyst will be responsible for financial and accounting processes, developing and implementing applications, leading convergence and migration efforts, troubleshooting complex issues, and contributing to roadmaps and documentation. The role requires strong SAP FI/CO experience, advanced English, and familiarity with agile development practices, DevSecOps, and CI/CD.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work as a member of the product acceleration Scrum team, responsible for Finance and Accounting processes in large-scale implementations with multi-year and interdepartmental programs
  2. Develop existing applications and contribute to the development of new applications and Implementations, for new units in relevant Finance configurations
  3. Lead the convergence and migration of existing units
  4. Monitor, identify and resolve the most complex problems and incidents reported to keep software and applications fully functional
  5. Contribute with team members to the development and maintenance of a roadmap facilitating work estimates, planning processes and necessary documentation

Skills

Required

  • Graduation completed in Statistics, Accounting Sciences, Mathematics, Finance, or related IT areas
  • Advanced English: broad vocabulary, good grammar, conducts meetings, argues, negotiates and delivers training
  • Solid experience in SAP FI/CO applications and support, development environment, database, data management and infrastructure resources
  • Practical skills in consuming, preparing, transforming and executing migrations in production database structures between systems using SQL
  • Experience in complex IT functions such as debugging, DevSecOps principles and development, such as Continuous Integration (GitHub Actions) and Continuous Delivery (Jenkins, Active Control and others)
  • Skills with Agile Software Development Practices (Scrum, Kanban, XP and others)
  • In-depth skills in communication, interpersonal relationships and/or mentoring
  • Organizational and analytical skills for problem and conflict resolution

Nice to have

  • Experience in integration between FI-AA and MM
  • Functional SAP skills in modules: SD, MM, PP and LES
  • Experience with SAP ABAP and debugging tools/techniques
  • Knowledge of system integration technologies and concepts (e.g.: SAP PI/PO, EDI, CPI, etc.)
  • SAP Certifications
  • Experience with SAP-enabled business processes
