The Analyst, Business Support-Quality Assurance is responsible for completing claim quality reviews, quality measurement, and quality reporting, and for supporting quality execution and continuous improvement across Walmart Claims Services. The role partners with claims leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen alignment, transparency, reserve adequacy, and overall claim handling quality.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform quality claim reviews, analyze trends and reserve adequacy, and identify key quality drivers and risks.
  2. Partner with claims leadership and stakeholders to communicate insights and support data-driven decisions.
  3. Support structured workflows for aggregate account reviews and ensure timely, accurate completion.
  4. Collaborate on actionable improvement plans to enhance claim handling practices and operational outcomes.
  5. Provide guidance on quality tools, dashboards, and reporting to strengthen quality governance and compliance.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, Computer Science, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in operations, retail, project management, or related area.
  • 4–5 years of experience in claims processing or insurance operations with strong knowledge of claims handling practices.
  • Experience working with carriers and/or Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and web-based systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • 1 year’s Walmart Home Office experience.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration.
