This role supports procurement and supply chain activities for commercial spend categories, focusing on driving cost efficiency, supplier performance, and data-driven decision-making. It involves analyzing spend, supplier performance, and trends, assisting with sourcing initiatives, contract administration, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support procurement activities for commercial categories, including marketing, sales enablement, professional services, and other indirect spend areas.
  2. Analyze spend, supplier performance, pricing, and demand trends to develop reports, dashboards, and insights for category leaders.
  3. Assist with the execution of category strategies, including sourcing initiatives, supplier evaluations, and cost‑savings programs.
  4. Support contract administration, pricing updates, purchase order processes, and supplier documentation in accordance with procurement policies.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure alignment with business needs.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Operations, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, finance, analytics, or a related business role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into clear, actionable insights
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard business reporting tools
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional, team‑based environment

Nice to have

  • Internship or early‑career experience supporting procurement, sourcing, or commercial operations
  • Exposure to indirect or commercial spend categories (e.g., marketing, agencies, professional services)
  • Experience with ERP or procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, or similar platforms)
  • Familiarity with basic sourcing, contracting, or supplier management concepts
  • Interest in developing a career in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations
  • Supply Chain or Procurement certifications (e.g., APICS, CPSM, CIPS)
