What you'd actually do

  1. Conducting analyses of title-level and portfolio content performance (generally using Excel to manipulate and interpret large sets of data)
  2. Creating presentations that summarize analyses about title expectations and performance, and insights on portfolio/brand/genre performance
  3. Building models to inform deal valuations, greenlight decisions, and windowing strategies
  4. Developing and updating title performance forecasts
  5. Maintaining standard datasets and presentation materials, such as weekly content categorization and quarterly title rankers

Skills

Required

  • 4-year degree in relevant field
  • At least 1 year of work experience preferably in finance/strategy roles at media /technology companies, or other quantitative fields
  • Highly analytical and strong, effective communicators who can also thrive in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
  • Possess intellectual curiosity, focus on generating results and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity
  • Must be motivated, disciplined, flexible, and be able to work effectively in collaborative and autonomous environments
  • High aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis, including highly advanced Excel modeling skills
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts and analysis
  • Fluency in building visualizations of complex data sets
  • Effective at writing, facilitating, and presenting analyses, and proficient with PowerPoint slide building
  • High EQ and professional maturity, with demonstrated ability to engage at an executive level
  • Demonstrated interest in the entertainment and/or tech industries

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in Media/Entertainment is a plus, but not a prerequisite.
