Netflix is seeking an Analyst for their Global Content Protection team to protect content from piracy. This role involves analyzing media rights, supporting anti-piracy goals, and implementing takedown programs using social media tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in content protection, IP law, and working with cross-functional teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Working alongside the Global Content Protection team to protect local, regional, and global content against piracy, and specifically as it pertains to title-level protection and enforcement strategies.
  2. Monitor the content release schedule across multiple territories, staying up to date with upcoming titles, and ensuring the team is briefed and aligned on key releases.
  3. Analyzing rights, production, and licensing agreements for content protection-related purposes.
  4. Implementing technological content protection measures, and utilizing available tools on social media platforms, such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  5. Coordinating and collaborating with vendors to search for and execute takedown requests of unauthorized content.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years experience in a global content protection program
  • Solid understanding of IP law, in particular copyright
  • proven experience analyzing media rights, production, and licensing agreements
  • Hands-on experience using content protection tools on social media platforms
  • making judgment calls on enforcing against unauthorized uses of IP
  • Experience handling large-scale datasets using data management and tracking tools
  • Experience collaborating with a broad set of cross-functional teams
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and work proactively, independently, and reliably under tight time frames
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Nice to have

  • Deep familiarity with production agreements and content deals is a plus.
