The Analyst Data Operations role at Johnson & Johnson focuses on the coordination, creation, and maintenance of master data elements within SAP and other systems. This role involves executing data operations and quality processes, collaborating with partners, preparing metrics and dashboards, and supporting the deployment of a Data Management Framework. It requires a Bachelor's degree and relevant professional experience, preferably in healthcare or FMCG, with strong knowledge of data processing systems like SAP and supply chain data elements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Be responsible for the timely, efficient and accurate coordination, creation and maintenance of various master data elements (e.g. Material Master, BOM/Recipes, Production Versions,etc.) in SAP/ECC directly and/or through automated workflow system(s) and the execution of impact analyses or feasibility studies of change requests so that material planning, production, release, finance or other processes can proceed optimally.
  2. Execute the data operations and data quality process. May include coordination of testing, error handling, data conversion and/or validation, and audit/compliance actions (Non-Conformance (NC) and/or Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)).
  3. Engage with partners on tactical matters. Provide tactical guidance and knowledge transfer to third-party team(s) and serve as point of escalation.
  4. Collaborate on the preparation of metrics, dashboards, and tracking to facilitate the efficient operations of the department.
  5. Collaborate to create and maintain documentation for area of responsibility. May include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), protocols, data quality catalogs, and other policy and procedure documents. Deliver training to educate partners on detailed procedures, data flows, etc.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of relevant professional business experience
  • data processing systems (e.g. SAP)
  • procedures & Tools for processing and managing Master Data
  • English fluently

Nice to have

  • OMP+ preferred
  • Basic Business and/or technical knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain data elements, process, and organizational support models
