This role supports identity and KYC risk strategy within a Financial Crimes & Identity team, focusing on detecting and preventing fraud throughout the customer lifecycle. Responsibilities include developing risk strategies, contributing to decisioning frameworks, partnering with cross-functional teams, analyzing trends, evaluating vendors, and supporting audits and regulatory exams. The role requires experience in Financial Crimes (AML, KYC, Sanctions, Fraud), risk strategy development, and familiarity with identity verification and fraud detection methods.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the development and refinement of risk strategies across KYC, identity verification, and onboarding controls
  2. Contribute to decisioning frameworks, policies, and thresholds to manage financial crimes and identity risk
  3. Partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Operations, and Member Services to implement risk strategies into workflows and systems
  4. Analyze trends, emerging typologies, and control performance to identify opportunities for improvement
  5. Participate in evaluations of identity verification vendors and solutions, including testing and optimization
