This role is for an Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) within Ford's Model e team, focusing on electric vehicle financials. Responsibilities include financial consolidation, data management for reporting systems, cross-functional liaison for variance analysis, executive support, ad-hoc financial analysis, and process improvement. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of experience in operational/profit analysis and financial forecasting, strong analytical skills, and a proactive mindset. Experience with complex data and presenting to senior leadership is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Consolidate Global Model e financials for corporate reporting (monthly actuals/forecasts, quarterly earnings, and annual budgets), identifying and communicating key business insights
  2. Serve as a lead for financial reporting systems; input, reconcile, and analyze data including Profit Matrix and Vehicle Line Income Statements to ensure financials align with key physicals
  3. Build strong relationships across the organization to reconcile management schedules, explain variances, and identify Risks and Opportunities (R&Os)
  4. Prepare and present comprehensive backup materials and financial deep-dives for Model e Leadership
  5. Support high-priority projects including Quarterly Earnings prep, Investor Relations inquiries, Capital Markets Day, and Global Leadership reviews

Skills

Required

  • Bachelors degree
  • At least 5 years of related experience
  • Experience in operational analysis, profit analysis, and financial forecasting
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and sound business acumen
  • A proactive self-starter who thrives in "white space" (ambiguous) environments and maintains a continuous improvement mentality
