Stripe is seeking an Analyst, Product Pricing to join their Pricing Strategy team. This role involves conducting rigorous analysis on pricing questions, identifying growth opportunities through pricing realization analysis, and improving data and systems infrastructure related to pricing outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical ability, proficiency in SQL, and experience in data-intensive roles within a fast-paced environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive pricing analytics and strategy by conducting rigorous analysis on ambiguous, high-impact questions about Stripe's business, and translating findings into clear recommendations that shape pricing decisions and commercial strategy
  2. Uncover growth opportunities by analyzing pricing realization, identifying products where pricing adjustments may be warranted, and understanding how factors like multi-product adoption and user churn shape the economics of our business
  3. Accelerate the pace of pricing decisions by codifying solutions to the complex, recurring analytical questions that sit at the core of Stripe's pricing strategy
  4. Improve our data and systems infrastructure by identifying gaps in how we capture and evaluate pricing outcomes, and partnering cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to design and implement robust, scalable solutions

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or business major
  • 5+ years of experience in data-intensive roles
  • Advanced SQL (minimum of 3 years)
  • Cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to toggle between high-level strategy and granular system details

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in a STEM major
  • Domain knowledge in pricing and/or GTM
  • Experience in fast-paced environments (e.g., high-growth fintech, tech, or management consulting)
  • Familiarity with Python, R, or similar languages for advanced data manipulation
