What you'd actually do

  1. Perform routine and non-routine QC tests to evaluate the quality of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods.
  2. Follow established procedures for sample collection, preparation, and analysis to ensure accurate results.
  3. Record and report test results accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Maintain the QC laboratory in a clean and organized state and ensure availability of necessary supplies and equipment.
  5. Perform incoming inspection of chemicals and materials upon order and delivery to the QC laboratory.

Skills

Required

  • diploma from a university or technical college in medicine, science or engineering (e.g., Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Material Sciences or comparable technical background)
  • minimum of 2–3 years' experience in Quality Control Laboratory
  • Proficient in laboratory software and computer applications
  • able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality assurance principles
  • fluent written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience in NMR, HPLC, KF and microbiological analysis techniques for working in a QC laboratory
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evening shifts
