Analyst, Workforce Planning

This role focuses on workforce planning and labor strategy within a theme park environment. The Analyst will perform workforce analysis, control labor spending, and provide recommendations to senior management. Key responsibilities include leading workforce-related projects, developing workload study plans and tools, collecting field data, driving operational efficiency, and conducting data modeling, analytics, and visualization to optimize labor usage and maximize company revenue. The goal is to ensure frontline work schedules meet operational needs and provide labor projections for business decisions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform workforce analysis, control and monitor labor spending and provide recommendations to senior management on frontline labor strategy that balance Guest, staff and financial needs.
  2. Lead and conduct workforce-related projects, including developing workload study plan and tools, performing in field data collection, driving operational efficiency, conducting data modelling, analytics, and visualization to create innovative solutions for anticipating and responding promptly to dynamic business changes.
  3. Generate workload to ensure frontline work schedules are met with approved plan and operation needs.
  4. Collaborate with cast scheduling team to provide labor projection enabling business decisions and operational adjustments promptly.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Operations Research, Statistics, HR or Business Management
  • Min. of 5 years of working experience in resources planning and analysis in operation fields
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, PowerPoint, Power Query, Power BI and Power Apps
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese
