This role leads annual planning mechanisms for the AWS Specialists and Partners (ASP) organization, leveraging AI/ML to enhance planning processes and decision-making. The Annual Planning Lead develops and implements planning processes, systems, and metrics that increase revenue growth and organizational effectiveness, analyzing data to identify improvement opportunities and providing recommendations. The role orchestrates AI-human collaboration, manages AI planning intelligence tools, and implements automated workflows.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leads annual planning activities which may include segmentation, territory design, and goal/quota setting to support ASP organizational effectiveness and strategic alignment.
  2. Orchestrates operational planning cycles (OP1/OP2) including timeline management, stakeholder coordination, and deliverable production to ensure timely completion of planning milestones.
  3. Develops and implements standardized planning processes, metrics, and KPI definitions while maintaining data quality to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting across annual planning mechanisms.
  4. Orchestrates AI-human collaboration in planning processes, manages and optimizes AI planning intelligence tools, and implements automated workflow systems to streamline processes and improve organizational efficiency.
  5. Conducts planning performance analysis on goal attainment, resource utilization, and process efficiency to identify potential risks and optimization opportunities, and prepares regular business reviews with insights on planning health and operational effectiveness.
