Antenna Test Engineer-4th Shift/weekends

This role involves integrating new equipment and programs, testing software and test equipment design for phased array testing, and automating test processes and data analysis. The engineer will troubleshoot RF issues, support technicians, analyze test data, and collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements within a defense sector context.

What you'd actually do

  1. Integrate new equipment and programs in a state-of-the-art facility
  2. Test software and test equipment design related to phased array testing
  3. Software development for automating test processes and data analysis
  4. Troubleshoot RF issues during test of advanced antenna systems
  5. Support technicians with troubleshooting and training

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline plus 2+ of relevant experience; or a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline.
  • Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.
  • Professional software development experience using languages such as C#, Visual Basic, MATLAB, Mate, etc.
  • Current Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to work weekend shift.

Nice to have

  • Software development experience with RF and antenna systems
  • Test development experience in a nearfield and/ or compact antenna range
  • RF test experience and/or antenna test/range experience
  • Familiarity with RF and antenna theory
