Northrop Grumman is seeking an Antenna Test Engineer to design, integrate, and automate antenna test equipment and processes for phased array testing. The role involves software development for automation and data analysis, troubleshooting RF issues, and collaborating with design engineering. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM, experience with RF test equipment, software development (C#, VB, MATLAB), and a DoD Secret clearance with SAP eligibility.

What you'd actually do

  1. Antenna test equipment design in support of factory phased array testing
  2. Integrate new equipment and programs in a state-of-the-art facility
  3. Test software and test equipment design related to phased array testing
  4. Software development for automating test processes and data analysis
  5. Troubleshoot RF issues during test of advanced antenna systems

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM
  • Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment
  • Professional software development experience using languages such as C#, Visual Basic, MATLAB, Mate
  • Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to work 2nd Shift

Nice to have

  • Software development experience with RF and antenna systems
  • Test development experience in a nearfield and/ or compact antenna range
  • RF test experience and/or antenna test/range experience
  • Familiarity with RF and antenna theory
